REQUIREMENTS AND POLICIES

(1) Set-Up and Tech Requirements
Please check each box below confirming you can fulfill the indicated requirements:

(a) Have access to a dedicated, fully charged, audio and video-enabled desktop or laptop (NO smartphones) with high-speed Internet connection, whether hard-wired or via Wi-Fi, to access all Zoom sessions. The minimum stable Internet connection broadband requirement is 768 kbps or higher, to ensure quality sound and video. It is recommended that, during study group sessions, streaming by other parties on the same Wi-Fi/hardwired connection be avoided to promote clear, uninterrupted streaming of study group sessions.

(b) Keep their camera open at all times, except during breaks.

(c) Be seated comfortably at a table, desk, or counter - not on a couch, on the bed, on the floor, etc. -, in front of their fully charged device, in a quiet, well-lit location, and away from distractions, including, but not limited to: noises, images, other people, etc. Participants are not allowed to attend sessions while in transit, in a moving vehicle, and/or while they are engaged in any other activity besides the training session.

(d) Have access to a dedicated, fully charged smartphone (with active texting and calling capabilities).

(e) Have downloaded and tested (to ensure functionality) the latest version of the Zoom app (available for free at https://zoom.us/ or at any application digital store), and be able to easily access it by placing it on the virtual desktop or home page/screen of their desktop or laptop.

(2) Policies

Please check each box below confirming you have read and understand each item:

ATTENDANCE POLICY: if you are unable to attend a session, will arrive late, or need to leave early, out of courtesy, please text or email (don’t call) the instructor to let them know. Sessions are progressive in nature, so full attendance is encouraged to maximize your investment. There are no make-up sessions, although participants are copied in all emails sent during and after sessions, so they can catch up as needed. Also, if arriving late or leaving early, please be cognizant of your peers and make every effort to get caught up or leave with the minimum disruption possible. Please plan to log in to sessions no earlier than 5 minutes before start time, as boot camp sessions do not open before then.

POLICY OF CONDUCT: this boot camp is designed for the adult participant. Sanchez-Vega Communications, LLC, the boot camp organizer, has zero tolerance for disrespectful behavior whether during boot camp sessions or as a result of online/phone/video interactions among participants and/or instructors/coaches. Examples of disrespectful behavior include: bullying; cheating; plagiarism; performing any of the following actions during boot camp sessions: engaging with others who are not participating of boot camp sessions, listening to/reading/web browsing material unrelated to boot camp sessions; engaging in hostile and/or denigrating speech and/or behavior towards a peer and/or an instructor/coach; and, monopolizing boot camp session discussions, among others. Even though an individual pays a fee to participate in this boot camp, they still have to show they care and are engaged during the full course of the boot camp sessions. Sanchez-Vega Communications, LLC, reserves the right of admission and denial to return to boot camp sessions at all times.

RECORDING POLICY: absolutely NO recording (audio, video, photo, or screenshot) is allowed at any time during boot camp sessions, unless it is part of an activity instructed to be carried out during (a) boot camp session(s). Anyone who records (a) boot camp session(s) will be removed from the group, and barred from attending any future sessions, with no option to receive a refund or credit towards another engagement.

RESCHEDULE POLICY: if one or more boot camp sessions need to be rescheduled due to inclement weather or other extenuating circumstances, the boot camp organizer will work with participants to make-up each session at mutually agreeable dates/times.

REFUND POLICY: payments made towards boot camp fees will be refunded as follows: (A) up to 14 days before the start of the boot camp: 100% refund of payment; (B) between 14 days and 7 days before the start of the boot camp: 80% refund of payment; (C) NO REFUNDS OR CREDIT towards future boot camps or other Sanchez-Vega Communications, LLC’s, engagements after 5 days or less before the start of the boot camp, or if a participant, for any reason, is removed or withdraws from a boot camp which has already started.

WITHDRAWAL DUE TO ILLNESS POLICY: If a participant has to withdraw from the boot camp due to illness, verification will be requested by Sanchez-Vega Communications, LLC, the boot camp organizer, of how the severity of the condition (diagnosis not required) affects the participant’s ability to attend the boot camp or the risk posed to others in the boot camp, to assess the participant’s eligibility for a credit towards a future engagement. Verification must be provided in the form of a letter, typed on official letterhead, from their primary care provider or a specialist physician (none of them can be the participant’s employer), detailing the reasons why the participant is being recommended to withdraw from the boot camp. The primary care provider or specialist physician must sign this letter, and mail it to an address to be provided by the training organizer, in a sealed envelope, with tracking information to ensure delivery confirmation. Emails, letters emailed as attachments, or unsigned letters on plain stationary are not acceptable for the verification requested.

HOMEWORK AND PARTICIPATION POLICY: boot camp participants are expected to do their indicated homework activities in preparation for each boot camp session. Additionally, boot camp participants are expected to actively participate during boot camp sessions to maximize their learning experience.

There is no time limit on the validity of this release nor is there any geographic limitation on where these materials may be distributed.

This release applies to photographic, audio and/or video recordings collected before, during, and after my appearance in training and/or study group sessions, with unlimited rebroadcasts.
